I’m Craig Lewis and I’m 67 years old.

I’ve had a working life, children and grandchildren. I’ve experienced many life-adventures: university, business, self-employment, travel, adult education, not-for-profit societies, living overseas, divorce and more. It’s been (mostly!) fun and interesting up to now and I plan to make it more so. The alternative is to quietly fade away into irrelevance – and I don’t like that idea!

I believe:

• nobody has a use-by date
• nobody should ‘retire’ and stop contributing
• we all have more to offer as we get older
• we have a responsibility to pass on our knowledge

It’s good for us, and good for our families and communities if we work to get the most out of the years we have left. A fulfilling retirement won’t happen by lying on the couch (or a yacht)!

I Understand Retirement

I’ve spent the last 10 years in semi-retirement thinking, reading, testing and searching. I’ve come to fully understand the need to keep engaged (and to supplement income). I personally have all the concerns that a retired person has: I don’t want to give up my freedom to spend my hours as I choose, I don’t want to be tied to one place, and I don’t want to take on a load of stress or financial risk. I get it.

Over the years I‘ve been through a lot of trial and error and made a lot of false starts. But I’ve learned from them and I believe I have found an answer. eCommerce. It is unique in being able to  now, the one thing that really works for a retired baby boomer, and I can help you avoid those mistakes and get going in a fraction of the time.

You (And I) Don’t Need to Be Experts

Am I an expert in all things related to technology, the Internet and eCommerce? Have I made millions in a long career in the field? No. But the fact that you are reading this shows you how far I’ve come, and how far I can take you. It is often said (and with good reason) that the best person to teach you how to do something is the person who is only a few steps ahead of you. They still remember what it was like to be just starting out. (This is important to remember when you consider your own online training options.)
